Animal Armageddon - Death Rays

A dying star explodes, causing the atmosphere to be destroyed. This wipes out most of the oceans' wildlife, including the vast majority of the straight-shelled nautiloids. However, in the end, Astraspis and the Eurypterids both manage to survive.
